Remove vocals from wav songs

Maybe you have many wav songs you like,sometimes you want to listen to a song without vocals, or you want to make a new instrumental-only ringtone for your iphone,you can use Audacity to remove vocals from these wav songs.

Download Audacity, and run it.
Go to File->Open to open a wav file you want to remove vocals from.

Go to Effect->Vocal Remover.

There are three choices to select,you can choose "Simple" to remove entire spectrum, or choose "Remove frequency band" to remove vocals between the band you set, or choose "Retain frequency band" to remove vocals beyond the band you set.

Click OK, you will finish removing vocals from your wav songs.
