Now Apply Paperless PAN Card Online Using Aadhaar Based e-KYC & e-Sign

Government has made it easy to get PAN by enabling the online application process that can be e-signed using the Aadhaar linked e-signature. Any Applicant with a valid Aadhaar card & a registered mobile number or registered email address can use this service.

Applicant can select any one of the following options below while filling online PAN application:

1. Submit Digitally through e-KYC and e-Sign (paperless), 
No need to upload Photo, sign and scanned images. photograph used in Aadhaar card would be used in PAN card as well.

2. Submit Scanned images through e-Sign 
An applicant needs to upload scanned images (as per defined parameters) of photo, signature and supporting documents while applying.

3. Forward application documents Physically

Note: To avail e-Sign, e-KYC  Aadhaar is mandatory and details given in Aadhaar should match PAN application.

These online application can be made either through the portal of NSDL or UTIITSL.

1 - Steps to apply Paperless PAN card using NSDL Portal:

• Visit NSDL Site >
• Select Paperless PAN Application Using Aadhaar Based e-KYC & e-Sign (Only Where Applicants Mobile no. &/or E-mail ID is Registered With UIDAI) >

• Fill Registration Form as per Aadhar Detail and submit >
• After Submit Note Down Your 10 Digits Token Number & click on Continue with PAN Application Form Button >
• Fill Complete application PAN Form & Submit >
• Make Payment using Online Payment Geteway >
• After Payment Click on Continue Button & Verify e-KYC >
• Download PDF >
• Now Track Your Application Form with Mentioned Reference Number on PDF Form >

2 - Steps to apply Paperless PAN card using UTIITSL Portal:

• Visit UTIITSL Site >
• Choose to Click "PAN CARD Home" Link >
• Click on "Apply as an Indian Citizen/NRI (click here)" >
• Then "Apply & Sign using Digital Signature/ Aadhaar based e-Sign, OR Aadhaar holders! Apply using e-KYC option." >

• Select "Aadhaar holders ! Click here for opting Aadhaar based e-KYC option" & Fill Complete Form then Click on Submit Button. >

• Note Down Application & Coupon Number >
• Continue with Make Payment Option >
• Verify e-KYC >
• Note Down Reference Number & Track Your Application Status Online.
