Showing Error "No active mixer device available" After double click on my volume icon

After double click on my volume icon showing below error:

There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.

This program will now close.

First Sure your computer has  a soundcard, audio chipset and audio drivers installed properly

To fix above error pl. follow step to step.

First Go to Start -->

Run -->

Then type in services.msc -->

Ok.

Another way to open services.msc

Start --> 

Control Panel --> 

Administrative Tools -->

Then Services


A popup window will open with list of services -->
Scroll down to Windows Audio -->
Double click on the Windows Audio Service -->
Set Startup type "Automatic" -->
Click on Start -->
OK.
