Enable or Unable to open hidden folders from View Option



1- First Go to Start then press Run.

2- Type "regedit" & ok

3- In the left pan just click on the "+" sign to expand the list

goto this path by expanding the list one bye one

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion­\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

4- Now at this point look in the right side pan there is a entry named.. "Checked value" double click on it

5- Now change this "Checked value" to 1

6- ok


OR

Open the group policy editor
Start\Run type gpedit.msc

Now move through the left pane to:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\

Now to the right find the key: Removes the Folder Options menu from the Tools Menu
double click and select enable

Now users cannot modify the look of the folders, change folder settings, or apply hidden folder options
